Founded in 1986, Christmas in Harrison is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to spreading the joy and spirit of the holiday season in Harrison, Maine. We host a beloved community event each year that brings people together to celebrate the season with holiday cheer, music, food, and festive activities. Our mission is to ensure that every local family and individual can experience the warmth and magic of Christmas. Through generous donations and the support of our volunteers, we are able to provide festivities to brighten the holidays for those who need it most. Christmas in Harrison is more than just an event; it's a celebration of the strength and spirit of our community, coming together to share in the true meaning of the season.

All net proceeds benefit Christmas in Harrison and its mission of spreading the joy and spirit of the holiday season with events filled with music, food and festive activities at no or little cost to the community.

Awards

Awards will be given to the first place overall male and female 5K finishers and to the first place in each age category for male and female 5k finishers:

  • Up to 19
  • 20 -29
  • 30 - 39
  • 40 -49
  • 50 - 59
  • 60 -69
  • 70 - 79
  • 80+

Each of the Fun Run runners will receive a participation medal.

T-shirts

T-shirt guaranteed for each runner registered on or before June 10, 2025. T-shirts for runners registered after June 10th will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and size is not guaranteed.Please specify your preferred t-shirt size when checking out, but note that size is not guaranteed.

Entry Fee

  • Online Preregistration - Fun Run $10.00; 5K $25.00. There will be a $2.75 processing fee per runner added at check out. Online registration closes 24 hours prior to the event.
  • Day of race registration 7:30 - 8:15 a.m . and is cash only

Race Policy

Race will take place rain or shine. If the race is canceled due to extreme weather conditions, there will not be any make-up date nor any refunds. Christmas in Harrison appreciates your understanding and support!
