Raises money to support the efforts of Konbit Sante Cap-Haitien Health Partnership.

Join us for a 5K walk/run around Portland’s Back Cove! This family-friendly event raises money to support the efforts of Konbit Sante Cap-Haitien Health Partnership, a Maine-based organization that has been working since 2001 to improve health care in Portland’s Sister City Cap-Haitien, Haiti.

Create a Personal Campaign Page (PCP) and let families and friends donate to Maine Walks with Haiti in your name. Prizes will be awarded to the person who raises the most pledges, and to the person who gets the most number of pledges. Click Here to create your PCP.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the top three runners.

Entry Fee

  • Preregistration for all walkers and for youth and student runners (up to the age of 20) is $10 per runner plus a $2.75 registration fee at check out
    Adult price is $20 per runner - plus a $2.75 registration fee at check out
    Families of 4 or more is $45 - plus a $2.75 registration fee per runner at check out. In the booking engine the family option is labeled "Group."
  • All registered walkers and runners will receive a free T-shirt and goodie bag (while supplies last).

Campaign

We encourage you to consider setting a fundraising goal to further support Konbit Sante's mission in northern Haiti. Your personal campaign is where friends and family can donate by clicking the "Donate" and entering the name of the person they are helping to meet their personal campaign goals. When donating please enter their name in the filed labeled "Name of Person you are Donating for Their Personal Campaign."
